Michael Greenspan has obtained verdicts and settlements resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars for his clients. Michael has argued appeals before Federal and State appellate courts and has lectured at Continuing Legal Education Seminars on Trial Practice and Insurance Law. He was awarded the distinction of an AV® rating1 with Martindale-Hubbell.
The County of Rockland as well as the American Association for Justice recognized Michael for his distinguished service in providing free legal representation through the Trial Lawyers Care program for families of victims of the September 11th attacks.
Leon and Michael Greenspan handled the landmark case of Smith v Sandals Resorts Int’l where a multimillion dollar recovery was obtained for the mother of a 26 year old Pennsylvania man who died months after being rendered quadriplegic at a Sandals resort. The Greenspans then succeeded in preventing the biological father of the deceased from sharing in the proceeds of the wrongful death action by establishing that the man had abandoned his son as an infant and played no role in his son’s development or life.
